It is, the continuation of the Islamic fundamentalist struggle for the homeland of Pakistan which claims Jammu and Kashmir state on account of its Muslim majority character.

Subjecting Hindus to brutal torture to instill fear among them in order to achieve their submission.

To engineer a forced mass exodus of Hindus from the land of their ancestors and birth by way of issuing threatening letters, kidnappings and torture deaths on non-compllance of the terrorists' dictates and ensure the destruction of the secular and pluralistic character of the socio-political fabric of the Kashmiri Society.

Attacks, molestations, kidnappings, gang rapes of the women folk of the Hindus in order to instil fear and humiliation in them.

Destruction and burning of the residential houses of the Hindus who leave their homes in look out for safety. Looting of their properties and appropriation of their business establishments to ensure that they do not return.

Attachment of their landed property.

Destruction of the social base of the Hindus by the desecration and destruction of their places of worship.

Appropriation of the property of the Hindu shrines and its attachment to Muslim religious endowments.

Failure of Government of India:

•The Jammu and Kashmir Government and Government of India have failed squarely to protect the Kashmiri Pandits against Islamic terrorism.

•Jammu and Kashmir being the only Muslim majority state in whole of India, the protection of minorities and their living peacefully, in their homeland, is crucial for India to remain as a Secular Democratic State.

•Ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) from Kashmir valley is the crucial failure of Indian state to uphold its commitments to people of India as enshrined in Indian constitution which provides right to live with dignity and honour to every citizen irrespective of caste, creed, religion or colour.

Failure of Human Rights Organisations:

•Leading International Human Rights Organisations like Amnesty International, Asia Watch and others have yet to take proper cognisance of the genocide perpetrated on Kashmiri Pandits.

•Their representatives have so far failed to visit the camps in Jammu, Delhi and other parts of India were thousands of families are puting up for the last five years.

•Gradual extinction of a civilised community with an ancient culture is yet to shake the conscience of the world.

After The Exodus

•More than 5000 persons have died in camps and elsewhere after their forced exodus from the valley. They died of sunstrokes (more than 1000) as most of them were used to cold climate of Kashmir and could not acclimitize to extremely hot temperatures in rest of India.

•Heart attacks and accidents which have been mainly attributed to extreme psychological trauma and mental pressures by the doctors.

•Gastroentritis and typhoid epidemics, snake bites etc.

•The cohesiveness of the displaced families has broken as they were to undergo diaspora for finding livelihood in various parts of country.

•Cultural Dilution - The whole displaced community with a distinct culture is facing the threat of extinction after loosing its natural habitat.

Kashmiri Pandit: A Rare Pocket Of Tolerance

•Inspite of repeated rejection of co-existence and pluralism by Muslim society for the last six hundred years, Kashmiri Pandit has not given up his faith in these values.

•He has not reciprocated fanaticism with fanaticism and violence with violence.

•In a world threatened with ethnic and religious strifes where various parties have invariably resorted to violence and force, to further their claims, Kashmiri Pandit isthe only example who has totally rejected the violence as a means to fulfill socio-political aspirations.

World therefore has a stake in protecting this culturally rich, educated and peace loving community, from becoming extinct, if it has to move towards a Modern World Order of Peace and Universal brotherhood.

Terrorist violence cannot be justified on the ground of its political and ideological motivations or value basis. Terrorist violence in the valley is not a Freedom Struggle at all. Baloch must become Hindus! (Must Read Article by Baloch Nationalist)

Baluchis are a fierce tribe. They are never subdued in their entire history except in the last 50 years where they were made slaves of Punjabis in the name of Pakistan.

Right now, it is fair to say that they are slaves of Punjabis. Their land is not theirs. They cannot speak in their language in assembly. If they speak in Baluchi language in "Pakistani parliament" the mike would be switched off and they will be forced to speak in Urdu.

When all the tribal leaders were opposed to the merger of Balochistan into Pakistan, only Akbar Khan Bugti put faith in Pakistan and was a prime mover in Balochistan' s integration with Pakistan.

And Pakistan has paid its thanks to Bugti in the language only Punjabis can understand.

Now all the tribes and clans of Balochistan are opposed to Pakistan. They want freedom from Pakistan. But how to get it?

There are two ways for it.

One is the old way.

In this way, the Baluchis need to become gurilla fighters and take on the might of the Pakistan army. It may result in freedom from Pakistan or it may die down when all the Baluchi fighters are killed. All those great fighters would die with the dream of free Balochistan which may never be fulfilled. There are many such struggles going on all over the world which are producing nothing but deaths for the youth. Generations of children are wasted and death by massive military machines are destroying the future for the youngsters. Rebellion would be ruthlessly crushed by the might of Pakistani military machine that is been constantly fed by the money that is produced in Balochistan. We might lose around 60000 youngsters before reaching any agreement with Pakistani army. Yet, there is no guarantee that there will be free Balochistan. To our sadness, we might even see that the entire baluchi tribes are wiped off the face of earth by this rebellion.

But there is another way. That is the peaceful way, but will surely result in free Balochistan.

This is not the way of Gandhi. If Gandhi would appear in Balochistan, Pakistan army would not think twice before shooting Gandhi in a point blank and move on. Pakistani army would not respect Gandhi like British did. That is not the peaceful way I am suggesting.

The way I suggest may make you uncomfortable and not willing to take the leap. But in my opinion, it is much more preferable than the death.

The peaceful way is to become Hindus.

The entire edifice of Pakistan is built on the concept of Islamic nation. The four provinces are tied together in the name of pakistan because of Islam.

If entire population of Balochistan declares themselves as Hindus, what right pakistan has over Balochistan?

It is not one person converting to Hinduism. It has to be entire Balochistan converting to Hinduism. If entire Balochistan become Hindu, then immediately Pakistan loses the reason for Balochistan to be part of Pakistan. If few Baluchis convert to Hinduism, they would be arrested and tried in Blasphemy courts. So the tribal leaders should decide beforehand and announce together that entire Balochistan adopting Hinduism. Then Pakistani govt cannot arrest entire Balochistan, can they? If all the people of Angaria,Baloch, Barija, Bhutani, Bhutta, Bizenjo, Brahmani, Bugti, Buledi,Burfat, Buzdar, Domki, Jadgal, Gabol, Gichki, Gola, Hasni, Hoti, Jam,Jamali, Jamoot, Jamote, Jattak, Kalmati, Kalpar, Kansi, Khetran, Khosa,Kolachi, Lari, Lashari, Lasi, Leghari, Magsi, Marri, Masuri, Mengal,Nausherwani, Nothazai, Regi,Rahija Raisani, Rind, Sanjrani, Sasooli,Shambhani, Talpur, Umrani, Wadhela, Zardari tribal leaders get together and decide to convert to Hinduism, what can Punjabis do?

If we declare ourselves as Hindus, then Punjabis can do nothing about it. We are not declaring a war on Pakistan militarily. But we are declaring a war on Pakistan and its concept. Pakistan has no option other than to leave Balochistan. Without lifting a single rifle, we would attack pakistan in a way which destroy pakistan in a way unimaginable. Since the entire concept of pakistan is built on anti-Hindu and anti-India mentality, nothing would devastate Pakistan like Balochistan converting to Hinduism. Punjabis would seeth in anger, they would call us traiters and infidels. But, they can do nothing about it. Punjabis can tolerate if Balochistan becomes Christian or Buddist. If we become Christian, then Pakistan would treat us like people of the book and continue to rule over us. But they can never tolerate and accept if Balochistan becomes Hindu. That is where it should hurt. The enemy is not punjabi. The enemy is the concept of Pakistan. Once we destroy the concept of Pakistan, the freedom is automatic. Once this is done, the whole edifice of Pakistan would fall flat.

If entire population of Balochistan leave Islam and become Hindus, then it would become a major world news. Then India and the world would take notice. Then the oppression of Balochistan under Pakistani punjabi rule would become a world issue.

If Pakistan needs to hold on to Balochistan, then it has to declare itself as secular nation which it can never do. Punjabis are asking for Kashmir because it has Muslim majority. If that is the case, what right they will have if Balochistan become Hindu? India has many regions that are muslim majority and some regions that are Christian majority. That is why India is a secular nation. But Pakistan prides itself as the Islamic nation. All the regions have Muslim majority. If Balochistan becomes Hindu, then the entire Pakistan collapses.

Let me make another thing clear. I dont suggest that all the Baluchis should be Hindus for eternity. Hinduism does not have blasphemy laws. Once the free Balochistan is achieved, then we can make this as a secular nation where people can follow any religion including Islam.

BJP's Stand on Quottrocchi and The Killings of Sikhs in Pakistan by the Taliban

1.    Bharatiya Janata Party deplores the absurd logic of the PM Manmohan Singh that India would have been looked down by the world community if red corner notice against Quatrocchi was not removed. This is a futile attempt to defend the indefensible act of the CBI. This also proves that withdrawal of red corner notice against Quottrocchi is not a CBI decision but a political decision of the UPA government. Instead of proceeding with the investigations UPA government offered Quattrochi a parting gift.

2.    Bharatiya Janata Party expresses deep concern over the report of killings and fleeing of Hindus and Sikhs from Swath valley by Talibans. BJP demands that Government of India should take proactive steps to save people of Indian origin living in Pakistan. Government utterly failed to protect the people of Indian origin in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and elsewhere. Mumbai attack plotted on our soil: admits Pak

Ten weeks after the terror attacks in Mumbai that shook the world and sent India-Pakistan relations in deep freeze, Islamabad finally owned up that "a part of the conspiracy" was hatched in the country.

India welcomed as "positive" Pakistan's probe, but reminded Islamabad to take "credible action" and "dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism" in its territory.  

Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik said at a crowded news conference in Islamabad that the terrorists, who slaughtered some 170 people in Mumbai in November and who India says were Pakistanis, were "non-state actors" - meaning, the Pakistani establishment had nothing to do with the massacre that has been roundly condemned around the world.

"This is an individual act, act of individuals or non-state actors. Their purpose is to create terror for their own motives. These motives need to be determined. Both India and Pakistan need to work it out," Rehman said. "A part of the conspiracy has been done in Pakistan," the minister admitted, "but a major part was shaped in India."

He said a first information report (FIR) was registered in Islamabad Thursday. The FIR has named nine people, including Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi, leader of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba, Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving attacker captured during the Mumbai mayhem, as well as Javed Iqbal of Barcelona who had allegedly played a role in funding the attackers.

"The incident happened in India but part of the conspiracy has been done in Pakistan. Therefore, it is abetting conspiracy and facilitation. Anybody (Pakistani national) who directs or conspires to do an act of terrorism abroad is deemed to have done so in Pakistan," Malik maintained.

"The alleged mastermind has been located and is under investigation," he said, without giving out his name.

He added that a total of six men have been arrested in Pakistan for their links with the Mumbai massacre. These included Lakhvi of the LeT, which did the "planning" of the attacks.

All these "have given us a complete picture. Obviously these accounts lead to the (terrorist) leadership also", Malik said.

This is the first time Pakistan has admitted the involvement of its nationals in the terror attack on India, breaking the patterns of repeated denial and obfuscation in the past.

Welcoming the Pakistan probe, the Indian external affairs ministry said in a statement: "In their official response, the Pakistan authorities have admitted that elements in Pakistan were involved in the terrorist attacks on Mumbai."

"They are still in the process of investigating the attacks, and have taken certain actions including the arrest of some of those who were involved and filing a first information report," the ministry said. "This is a positive development," it added.

Responding to Pakistan's demand for more information and material relating to the Mumbai atrocity, India also agreed to examine the issues and will share whatever it can with Pakistan. 

New Delhi, however, made it clear that it was determined to pursue the Mumbai attacks to its logical conclusion and asked Islamabad "to take credible steps to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism in Pakistan."

"It remains India's goal to bring the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks on Mumbai to book, and to follow this process through to the end," the ministry said. "We would also expect that the Government of Pakistan take credible steps to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism in Pakistan," it stated.  

The Indian government's response came after Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir gave Islamabad's official response to India's dossier to New Delhi's High Commissioner Satyabrata Pal. India had given a dossier to Pakistan Jan 5 containing material that established connection between elements in Pakistan and the Nov 26 Mumbai attacks.

Pakistan, under increasing pressure to crack down on Islamists who have virtually taken over large areas bordering Afghanistan, had initially sought to deny any links with the 10 terrorists who sailed to Mumbai by sea from Pakistan Nov 26 and then went on a horrific killing spree that lasted three days and traumatised a nation.

Nine of the terrorists were killed and Kasab was captured. India said the terrorists were linked to LeT, which has reportedly had close links with the Pakistani intelligence.

"Our leadership is fully concerned and serious in bringing all the culprits to justice," Malik said. "I would like to assure the government of India, the people of India, we are with you."

The minister said Pakistan desired more information from India. He said a set of 30 questions has been sent to New Delhi through its envoy in Islamabad. These included fingerprints of all the dead terrorists and also better pictures of the men who were killed by Indian commandos.

"It's a positive step," commented Lalit Mansingh, a former foreign secretary. "The government should take it seriously and consider answers to some of their questions to bring the perpetrators to justice."

"At least they have admitted that part of the conspiracy was hatched in Pakistan," he said.

Analysts noted that the admissions come a day after the visit of Richard Holbrooke, US special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, and in the wake of President Barack Obama's telephone call to President Asif Ali Zardari.

"International pressure seems to have worked on Pakistan," said K.Subrahmanyam, India's pre-eminent strategic analyst. "They have accepted handlers were in Pakistan." 

Al-Qaeda video warns India of more attacks

A top al-Qaeda commander, who was reported killed in a US drone strike last year, has appeared in a video warning India of more Mumbai-style terror attacks if it tried to attack Pakistan.

"India should know that it will have to pay a heavy price if it attacks Pakistan," Mustafa Abu al-Yazid, believed to be al-Qaeda's military commander in Afghanistan and ranked behind No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahiri, said in a 20-minute video in Arabic received by BBC.

Yazid, who the Pakistani military said may have been killed in fighting last August in the Bajaur tribal region, said, "The Mujahideen will sunder your armies into the ground, like they did to the Russians in Afghanistan. They will target your economic centres and raze them to the ground."

Yazid denounced the ban on militant groups in Pakistan following the Mumbai attacks and asked the people of Pakistan to rise up and overthrow the government and President Asif Ali Zardari, the BBC reported.

The al-Qaeda leader is said to have been involved in a number of terror attacks, including last year's Danish Embassy bombings, in Pakistan and had claimed the responsibility of assassinating former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

He was last heard in August 2008 when he confirmed the death of al-Qaeda chemical-weapons expert Midhat Mursi al-Sayid Umar.

A man is! taking a walk in Central park in New York . Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pit bull dog.

He runs over and starts fighting with the dog. He succeeds in killing the dog and saving the girl's life.

A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says: "You are a hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers:

"Brave New Yorker saves the life of little girl".

The man says: "But I am not a New Yorker!"

Oh then it will say in newspapers in the morning:

"Brave American saves life of little girl" the policeman answers.
